A breakaway from PKMS, it was likewise Malay-based and positioned itself as a pro-Malay concerns group, making press statements mostly in support of the PAP government, the last in 2004. From then, it was not heard from until prior to the 2011 GE when it announced joining SDA where its former rival was in.
