Parti Nasionalis Malaysia
(English: Nationalist Party of Malaysia)
Founded: 16 August 1985
Dissolved: ?
The first Malay majority multi-racial party in the Peninsular since Negara, its founders were mostly civil servants led by businesswoman and former policewoman Zainab Yang. Within a year, it was embroiled in a leadership tussle, which triggered mass resignations. Entering the 1986 General Election in Malaysia in a weakened state, NasMa worked with PAS, PSRM and SDP under the informal Harakah Keadilan Rakyat (People's Justice Movement) banner but did not capture any seat and faded away shortly after.
