PARLIAMENTARY BY-ELECTIONS 1966 (II)
Immediately after the first, a second by-elections took place following resignations of another three BS MPs - Chio Cheng Thun (Chua Chu Kang), Kow Kee Seng (Paya Lebar) and S. T. Bani (Crawford), as the boycott of Parliament continued. For the first time in the history of elections in Singapore, walkovers (no-contests) were seen. With no challenges, all three constituencies returned to PAP without polls conducted.
